Our commitment

Pyre Fit, operated by Ecom Empire OÜ, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

Standards we follow

Our website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, language, learning, neurological, and physical disabilities.

We also work toward compliance with:

• Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in the United States
• Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act
• European Accessibility Act (EAA) for European customers

Features we have implemented

• Semantic HTML for screen-reader compatibility
• Sufficient color contrast (minimum 4.5:1) for body text and 3:1 for large text
• Alt text on product photography and informative images
• Keyboard navigation for all interactive elements (links, buttons, forms)
• Focus indicators visible on all focusable elements
• Responsive design that works at 200% zoom without loss of content
• Form labels programmatically associated with inputs
• ARIA landmarks for the header, main content, and footer
• Skip-to-content link at the top of every page

Compatibility with assistive technologies

The site is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of:

• JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver screen readers
• Dragon NaturallySpeaking voice control
• Browser-based zoom up to 400%
• Operating system level high-contrast modes

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to address:

• Some third-party widgets (chat, reviews) may have partial accessibility coverage.
• Older product photography may lack the descriptive alt text we now apply to new uploads.
• Some PDF documents may not be fully tagged for screen-reader navigation.

• Response time: we will acknowledge within 5 business days and aim to resolve within 30 days

Please provide:

• The URL of the page where the issue occurred
• A description of what you were trying to do
• The assistive technology you were using (browser, screen reader, etc.)

Ongoing efforts

Accessibility is a continuous process. We commit to:

• Auditing the site annually against WCAG 2.2 AA criteria
• Training our team on accessible content creation
• Including accessibility in our acceptance criteria for every product launch and theme update
• Inviting customer feedback as our most valuable source of real-world testing

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with the response to an accessibility concern, you may file a formal complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice (Civil Rights Division) under Title III of the ADA, or with your local consumer protection authority.
